摘要  标准化是推动许多国家信息化建设的重要手段之一，国内外信息化的实践证明，信息化带动工业化建设必须有标准化的支持，尤其要发挥标准化的导向作用。主要从开发利用信息资源的需要；先进制造技术发展的需要；提高企业现代管理水平的需要；电子商务发展壮大的需要；建设资源节约、环境友好型社会的需要；增强自主创新能力，应对国际挑战的需要等六个方面介绍了标准化的重要作用。

Abstract: Standardization is one of the important measures to promote informatization in
many countries.It has been testified in informatization practices both domestically and
abroad that informatization-driving industrialization must be supported by 
standardization especially when guidance function of standardization is required,so that
the realization of coordinating uniformity and integral potency can be assured in order to
regulate and accelerate the development of informatization-driving industrialization 
orderly; fficiently; rapidly and healthily. This article mainly introduces some significant
effects of standardization through these six aspects as: the demand for information 
resource developing and exploiting;the demand for advanced manufacturing technology
development; the demand for modern enterprise management improvement; the 
demand for e-business expanding and growing; the demand for construction of resource
-saving and environment-friendly society; the demand for independent innovating
capacity and responses to international challenges.
