摘要  介绍了IETP国际规范S1000D的由来和应用，维护其运转的组织机构，2.3版至3.0版的主要变化，4.0版的显著特点，最后分析S1000D的迅猛发展带给我们的机遇与所要开展的工作。

Abstract:This paper recites the origin and application rang of interactive electronic 
technical publications international specification S1000D, organization of S1000D, main 
changes from issue 2.3 to issue 3.0, the changes of issue 4.0, and expatiates
