摘要  根据元数据互操作问题产生的原因，从语义、语法、结构等技术途径对元数据互操作问题的解决展开了深入的分析，其中包括映射、XML和RDF等技术，并对现存技术的局限性进行了概括总结。介绍了一种综合上述几种技术的管理途径、元数据登记系统及国外元数据互操作进展情况。

Abstract: This paper presents a metadata interoperability issues causes, then deeply 
analysis the problem of metadata interoperability from the aspects of semantic; grammar
and structure,including mapping; XML and RDF. and also summerd up the limitations of 
sting existing technology solutions. On the basic of theses technologies presents a 
management approach,metadata registry system.Then introduct foreign metadata 
interoperability progress.
