摘  要  对2008年在中国西安召开的IEC/TC46 电缆和连接器国际会议的整体情况和我国IEC提案的进展等进行了综合报道，分析了对我国电缆和连接器行业的影响，并提出了一些建议。

Abstract: This essay reports the entire information of the international meeting of  IEC 
TC46 cables and connectors in 2008 in Xi'an China and the newly progress of our IEC 
proposals. It also analyzes the influence on our cable and connector industry and also 
gives some suggestions.
