Abstract: The definition and basic characters of intelligent sensor are introduced in this 
paper, and the key communication interface specification and standards of intelligent 
sensor are analyzed. It makes readers understand present development and technical 
status of intelligent sensor. The application of intelligent sensor in sensor network is 
presented in the last as reference.
