Abstract:This paper provides basic concepts of Digital Content Management & Protection
(DCMP) and identification description means of digital contents.The paper clarifies the
DCMP object by analyzing metadata, essence. Based on definition of DCMP,this paper
describes the identification implementation mode of digital contents, and discusses the
future direction of identifying digital contents.
