摘 要 阐述了多媒体信源编码在增强现实领域的标准化研究进展，介绍了ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 所做MPEG 系列标准在此方面的贡献，及可行的应用。

Abstract: This paper introduces the MPEG’s contributions for standardization of 
Augmented Reality. ISO/IEC SC 29 and its Working Groups have been continuing 
developing the standards, some of which should be useful for designing AR applications.
