摘 要 介绍了ISO/IEC 9075“信息技术 数据库语言 SQL”标准20 多年的演变过程，并对其发展过程中影响力较大的4 个版本（SQL92、SQL99、SQL2003 和SQL2008）的差异进行了分析。SQL 标准的发展演变主要体现在标准结构、分级方式和“非核心级”标准内容上，标准的“核心级”部分自SQL92 以来未发生太大的变化。

Abstract: This paper introduces the more than twenty years’ evolution of ISO/IEC 9075
“Information technology— Database language—SQL”, and analysis the differences 
among the 4 most influential versions——SQL92, SQL99, SQL2003 and SQL2008. The 
major differences among the visions of SQL standard include structure,level and optional
features. Core SQL hasn’t been changed much since SQL92.
