摘 要 介绍了点阵字型的设计原理、数据表示方法和字库格式。研究了汉字点阵设计中的简省笔画处理方法，以及点阵字型字库格式常用的BMP、BDP 两种格式表示方法。

Abstract: This paper introduces the method of dot matrix font design, the way of its 
presentation and the format of font. It also studies on the solution of reducing strokes 
for Chinese ideogram dot matrix font design, and the BMP & BDP formats which are 
common used in Chinese ideogram dot matrix fonts.
