摘 要 主要介绍开放虚拟化格式规范的背景和技术细节，OVF 描述了一个用来封装和分发运行在虚拟机平台上虚拟系统的安全、开放、可移植、高效和可扩展的文本格式，通过该规范可以实现虚拟机在不同虚拟机平台之间的迁移。目前该规范已经成为国际标准ISO/IEC 17203：2011，并且在国内外得到广泛的支持和应用。对未来OVF 的进一步发展提出展望。

Abstract: OVF describes a secure, open, portable, efficient and expandable format to 
package and distribute virtual system running on a hypervisor. OVF supports virtual 
machine migration among different hypervisors. Currently, OVF has been adopted as an 
international standard ISO/IEC 17203:2011, and widely supported by the industry. In 
this article, we introduced the background and technical details of OVF and provided 
some preview about the future development of OVF.
