Abstract  This paper summarizes the nine key factors of successful software project  
planning, it includes that the occasion for project planning, the breakdown of tasks, 
the dependency relationship of tasks, the priority of tasks and the buffer for 
management.This issue gives a simple and practical guideline for software project 
planning.
