摘要  分析了通用布缆系统的基本组成结构，对每一部分的主要功能作了说明。总结了国内外通用布缆系统标准化体系的状况，重点描述了北美、欧洲以及国际通用布缆系统标准体系。回顾了国内通用布缆系统标准化的历程，重点分析了国内通用布缆标准化工作的特点和未来通用布缆标准化工作方向。

Abstract: The main structure of Generic Cabling System (GCS) was given,an overview on
GCS standard history was described also.The status and the main task in the future of
GCS standard in China were mainly discussed.
