摘  要  介绍了入侵防御系统，比较了入侵检测系统和入侵防御系统，给出了入侵防御系统的体系结构，分类、优缺点并分析了其发展方向。

Abstract: Intrusion prevention system(IPS) is introduced in  this paper.. It compares 
intrusion prevention system with intrusion detection system, presents the architecture,
classification, advantages and disadvantages of intrusion prevention system , points out
the advance direction of intrusion prevention system.
