摘要  介绍了藏文的一些基本特征和藏文编码字符集的历史，描述了扩充集A与B的编码模式，最后介绍了扩充集编码在软件编程中的应用技术。

Abstract: This article systematically introduce Tibetan coded character sets history and 
explains in detail the organizational structure and design methods of Tibetan coded 
character sets (Extension A and B). The author further has discussed application 
technology of Extension codes in software programming.
