摘要  目前，多种语言文字的字处理技术和应用系统大部分属单机版，需要客户端预先安装字处理软件，包括字库和输入法。随着计算机网络时代应用的发展，这种单机版文字处理系统已不能适应新的网络传播技术的要求，不利于藏文信息推广和藏文信息应用。为顺应网络信息化需求，方正开发了藏梵文嵌入式字库和藏梵文在线输入法，客户端用户无需在本机下载安装任何藏梵文字库和藏梵文输入法，即可对藏文网站进行浏览、检索、录入、修改等操作。

Abstract:Till now, most multilingual word processing systems are running on stand-alone
terminals. Clients must download the word processing software, including fonts and 
input methods.These systems can not contribute to Tibetan information and application
To meet the requirement of internet application, we developed Tibetan embeddable 
fonts and on-line input method. Clients can browse,search,input and modify Tibetan
articles without downloading any Tibetan fonts and input method.
